welcome to my site

If you've got kids, you know that before they are even 1 they are babble machines. That's what you need to become, a babble machine.

For playing blues guitar, those sounds start with the blues scale and some of the more common blues chords. Don't worry about playing the notes in order every time. Once you learn the scale, give yourself time to "babble."

Once you've got the pattern down, just play the scale notes in any order you want. Try to make up little melodies for yourself. That's the babbling going on and DOING WHAT IT NEEDS TO DO.

Don't fight it, just play. Give yourself about 10 minutes a day to just "babble." If you ready now to really supercharge your playing and get going immediately, I'd like to recommend Playing Through The Blues course. Not only will you really learn how to nail the blues, you'll have a great time doing it. Here's what this method is NOT:

    1. Stuffy theory lessons (ugh...)
2. Boring scale exercises
3. Random tidbits of information that you can't make any sense out of..

Here's what you WILL get with the method:

    1. The 12 bar blues, what it is and how to instantly find all three chords that you'll need
2. The best 7th, 9th, 11th, 13th and altered blues chords to make your rhythm playing a cut above the "normal" guys.
3. How to effortlessly weave solos, all over the neck.
4. How to THINK like a bluesman. It's not enough to just slap down some blues licks.
5. How to nail a pinch harmonic and get that Billy Gibbons "squeal"
6. A totally "Step-By-Step" approach.
